ATHINA

“Trust the process. If it’s not okay, it’s not the end.”

Sweet and social, always with a smile — unless it’s training time

Background/Training

I’ve been playing volleyball since I was 10 years old and competing at a high level from the age of 16 until 30, so sports have always been a huge part of my life. Along the way, I also worked in a physiotherapy clinic as a rehabilitation coordinator, which helped me build strong knowledge in anatomy, exercise physiology, and injury prevention. I’ve worked a lot with athletes, focusing on both performance preparation and recovery, and over time I also specialized in helping people with fat loss and overall fitness. For me, training is not just about looking good — it’s about feeling strong, moving better, and trusting your body.

Training Philosophy

I believe in training smart, not just hard — but let’s be honest, we still work hard. I love combining strength training with cardio because I truly believe that this mix is essential for both performance and long-term health. I’m supportive and always open to feedback, but I also like to keep things structured and focused so we can actually make progress. Good technique, consistency, and showing up again and again are what really make the difference, and that’s exactly what I try to build with my trainees.

What motivates you

What motivates me the most is seeing people slowly level up. Running a little faster, lifting a little heavier, feeling more confident — those small wins are everything to me. I strongly believe that consistency is the real game changer, and I honestly love seeing the same faces in class, watching them get better week after week. Seeing my trainees build not only strength, but also self-discipline and self-confidence, is the biggest reason I love what I do.

Coaching Style/Personality

My trainees would probably tell you that I don’t leave much room for excuses, but I’ll always support you and push you to do your best. I bring a lot of energy into every session and I really care about people feeling motivated and capable. We can laugh and joke during rest breaks, but once it’s go time, we’re fully focused. My goal is to help you surprise yourself with what you can actually do.

Music Style

Music is a big part of the training vibe for me. During sessions, I usually go for melodic techno with a touch of pop — something that keeps the rhythm strong and the energy high. I want the music to help you get into the zone, stay moving, and maybe even forget for a moment how hard you’re working. Basically, if you’re not feeling at least a little bit pumped, I’m probably changing the playlist.

Fun Fact

Sports are my safe place. If I’m having a bad day, I go to training. If I’m having a good day, I also go to training. If I don’t even know how I’m feeling… yeah, I probably need training. Sweat is my kind of therapy, courts are my second home, and workouts are how I bring some order into the chaos. I can’t promise I’m always calm, but I can promise I’ll give 100% — and probably smile while doing it.
